In Tuscany, Italy, I had long revered the Siena Cathedral. On my previous visit, I missed my chance to see it by a narrow margin of time, so I made it a priority on my return trip in September of 2025. In my determination to ensure I finally experienced this space, I accidentally—and unknowingly—drove into the restricted city center. While I have yet to receive the violation, I did make it to this storied cathedral.

With its intricacies and remarkable detail, my goal was to capture as much of the central structure as possible—flanked by the striped pillars, star-patterned vaulting, and the stoic altar crowned by a circular stained-glass window. The interplay of natural light and flickering candlelight illuminates the space with an ethereal glow, giving the interior a feeling that is almost heavenly or celestial.

I was completely awestruck by this glorious space.

Shipping & Returns

Please allow 3 to 4 weeks for delivery after payment is received. We take great care in the packaging and shipping of your fine art print. The customer pays for all shipping costs. All sales are final; Roman Russo does not accept refunds, returns, or exchanges. We are unable to make changes or cancellations to an order more than 24 hours after it is placed.

If your artwork arrives with any damage, please reach out to us as soon as possible.
