Within Chianti Classico lies the Antinori winery, one of the oldest continuously operating wine families in the world today. What makes this family so significant is not only their longevity in the wine industry but their boldness to break tradition when it mattered—seeking new approaches while remaining deeply rooted in place. In my work as an artist, I feel a similar pull to redefine recognized subject matter and to choose a new frame, or a new way of considering it, which is one of the many reasons I was drawn here.

With textured clouds overhead, the movement between the growing vines and the contemporary subterranean structure built into the hillside invites you to slow down and take in the space ahead as you enter. There is a sense of anticipation in this threshold, an awareness of the work unfolding quietly behind the scenes, and of the work nature itself is doing as the season shifts from spring growth toward harvest. This juxtaposition of an industrial working space embedded within an agricultural vineyard reflects a balance between innovation and restraint, progress and patience, and the careful stewardship required to create something enduring.

Printing & Framing

Each archival pigment fine art print is part of a limited edition collection, signed and numbered to guarantee provenance. We print on heavyweight, acid-free paper, carefully selected for its archival quality and durability. Shipping & Returns

Please allow 3 to 4 weeks for delivery after payment is received. We take great care in the packaging and shipping of your fine art print. The customer pays for all shipping costs. All sales are final; Roman Russo does not accept refunds, returns, or exchanges. We are unable to make changes or cancellations to an order more than 24 hours after it is placed.

If your artwork arrives with any damage, please reach out to us as soon as possible.
