Peekaboo was shot on the roof of the Duomo di Milano, facing out toward the piazza and the city beyond. This particular view sits just to the right of the main exit from the rooftop, tucked into a small corner that’s easy to miss if you’re not paying attention. I was drawn to the way the buildings of the piazza are framed by the church itself — the beautiful old construction, the protective wiring and structural supports, and the tonal depth of the stone that makes this vantage possible. Seeing it in its completed state, I enjoy the fact that it could have been taken any time in the past decades, making it timeless and relevant for all viewers to place themselves at the vantage.

Please allow 3 to 4 weeks for delivery after payment is received. We take great care in the packaging and shipping of your fine art print. The customer pays for all shipping costs. All sales are final; Roman Russo does not accept refunds, returns, or exchanges. We are unable to make changes or cancellations to an order more than 24 hours after it is placed.

If your artwork arrives with any damage, please reach out to us as soon as possible.
